From reading so many blogs from across the pond, I had heard a lot about Renegade Craft Fair, so when I heard they were coming to London this weekend I had to see what all the fuss was about...
The fair was held in The Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane, which was perfect. It was a really busy day in Shoreditch so coming up the stairs into such a big bright space was such a relief on the system, especially when you were greeted by so many amazing things by talented artists. It sounds obvious, but I think the thing that impacted me the most about the day was the outstanding quality of work across the board. I came away feeling so inspired and motivated, and more sure than ever that this is the world I want to be moving into with my career.
I came away with some gorgeous stuff too that I couldn't resist! How cool is the fox and badger print by JIMBOBART?! And the post card, stickers and badge are from Art Equals Happy - which was an extra fun stall to visit as I have been reading the blog for a while and it was great to meet the lovely Kim in "real life".
All in all, I've got to say... the fuss is worth it - Renegade really is amazing. Did anyone else go? What did you think?
